GridGain Nebula August 4 2025 Release Notes

What’s New in This Release

GridGain® Nebula is a cloud-native, fully-managed service for Apache® Ignite™ and GridGain® Platform. Nebula eliminates the complexity of configuring, provisioning, managing, optimizing and scaling Apache® Ignite™ and GridGain® in cloud or hybrid environments. You can spend less time managing platform instances and more time building high-performance, scalable applications.

The latest Nebula release, August 4 2025, introduces support for the latest version of GridGain 9, as well as extended support for DCR in GridGain 9.

GridGain 9 Connector Support Scope

GridGain Nebula supports GridGain 9 versions 9.0.17 and later and Apache Ignite 3.0.0.

You need to update Cloud Connector to the latest version (2025-07-23) to securely connect your GridGain 9 and Apache Ignite 3 clusters to Nebula.

New Features

Data Center Replication in GridGain 9

With this release, data center replication is now supported for GridGain 9 clusters, providing an extensive overview of your DCR set up, as well as new and improved ways to manage data replication.

Monitoring improvements

This release features multiple improvements to monitoring your clusters:

  • Attached GridGain 8 clusters now have alerting enabled by default. The ignite.longJVMPausesCountChange metric is monitored for never being over 0 milliseconds.

  • Cluster health widget now tracks if some nodes in the GridGain 8 cluster are offline, and provides the ID of nodes that are offline.

  • You can now manage what data is collected from GridGain 9 or Apache Ignite 3 clusters from Nebula interface without updating your cluster configuration.
