GridGain Nebula October 20 2025 Release Notes
What’s New in This Release
GridGain® Nebula is a cloud-native, fully-managed service for Apache® Ignite™ and GridGain® Platform. Nebula eliminates the complexity of configuring, provisioning, managing, optimizing and scaling Apache® Ignite™ and GridGain® in cloud or hybrid environments. You can spend less time managing platform instances and more time building high-performance, scalable applications.
The latest Nebula release, October 20 2025, introduces support for the latest version of GridGain 9, new and improved REST API and cluster managements.
You need to update Cloud Connector to the latest version (2025-10-17) to access new features. Previous version of the connector is also supported and can too be used to securely connect your GridGain 9 and Apache Ignite 3 clusters to Nebula portal.
New Features
Private GridGain 9 Clusters
This release allows you to configure your GridGain 9 managed clusters to be started in a private AWS network. Previously, this was only available for GridGain 8 clusters.
Events Screen
The new Events screen lets you view, filter, and inspect cluster activity in real time. You can configure which event types to display, apply custom filters, and view detailed event information, making your GridGain 9 and Apache Ignite 3 cluster monitoring and troubleshooting faster and more efficient.
REST API
GridGain Nebula now supports getting detailed reports on cluster health using the REST API.
Prioritize and Cancel Compute Tasks
You can now reprioritize tasks via new context actions available for the Compute system view widget.
Terminate Transactions
You can now terminate active transactions directly from the Transactions system view widget.
Native Cloud Connector Packages
Cloud Connector is now available as Linux packages: deb and rpm. See the installation guide to get started.
Improved Debugging for GridGain 8
GridGain Nebula now provides comprehensive debug information collection for GridGain 8 nodes, enabling streamlined troubleshooting and diagnostics. The following information is available:
-
Cluster configuration information
-
Cluster topology information
-
JVM properties used by the node
-
Node logs
-
Node thread dump
You can collect debug information both from a single node or from multiple nodes at the same time.
