Cloud computing has been growing rapidly. The widespread availability of non-volatile RAM products is imminent. In-memory computing is facing a rapidly evolving technology landscape. At the same time, digital transformation is unleashing massive quantities of data, often streaming data, which requires real-time ingestion, processing, and analysis. These evolving use cases are driving the deployment of hybrid in-memory computing architectures – known as HTAP, HOAP or Translytical – which process both transactions and analytics. Nikita will discuss the path forward against the backdrop of these emerging technologies and use cases as in-memory computing navigates through the challenges of this rapid, and beneficial, change.
