Real-Time Analytics Using In-Memory Computing with ANSI-99 SQL
For real-time analytics, the GridGain® in-memory computing platform can simultaneously address OLTP and OLAP using the same real-time, in-memory data set, also known as hybrid transactional/analytical processing or HTAP. GridGain provides full ACID compliance for transactions and also is ANSI-99 SQL compliant for analytics. The GridGain in-memory computing platform can scale to petabytes of data in-memory simply by adding nodes to the GridGain cluster. GridGain includes a compute grid so analytic queries are processed at in-memory speeds and are dispersed across the compute grid to take advantage of the combined computing power of the cluster nodes.
By implementing the GridGain in-memory computing platform for Hybrid Transactional/Analytical Processing (HTAP), large volumes of data can be ingested and analyzed in real-time. Real-time analytics can enable actionable decision making for time sensitive use cases.
