Presentation Abstract:
Join us for this virtual Meetup featuring a presentation by Glenn Wiebe, GridGain Solution Architect. Glenn will provide an overview of how to use Apache Ignite as a digital integration hub (DIH) – also known as an API Platform, Smart Data Hub, or Smart Operational Datastore – for real-time data access across data sources and applications. Some popular use-cases for this architecture include:

- Significantly decrease API calls to SaaS solutions and operational datastores, reducing costs
- Aggregate data from across the enterprise to create 360-degree customer views that power upsell and cross-sell opportunities, increasing revenue
- Decouple back-end systems of record from front-end business applications, allowing companies to strategically replace back-end systems over time, providing operational flexibility
- Once data from across the enterprise is aggregated, new real-time business analytics and machine learning are possible, increasing business insights

The session will be useful for architects and developers who are just starting to work with Apache Ignite and in-memory systems. In addition, this session will guide existing users to extend their initial Ignite and GridGain solutions to the next level of performance and capability in a patterned, organized approach.
