Apache Ignite talk Sept. 13 at the SF Big Analytics Meetup

Apache Ignite talk Sept. 13 at the SF Big Analytics MeetupGridGain Systems product manager and Apache® Ignite™ PMC Chair Denis Magda will be the featured speaker at the SF Big Analytics Meetup on Sept. 13. Denis' talk is titled: "Apache Ignite: the in-memory hammer in your data science toolkit."

In his talk, Denis will look at some of the main components of Apache Ignite, such as the Compute Grid, Data Grid and the Machine Learning Grid. Through examples, attendees will learn how Apache Ignite can be used for big data analysis.

Lighting talk

A lightening talk is also planned by Luciano Resende, an architect at IBM Spark Technology Center. This talk will describe best practices putting together an analytical platform based on Jupyter Notebooks and different kernels running in a distributed Apache Spark cluster.
