Billing

GridGain Control Center SaaS version provides various possible subscription plans. You can specify a number of nodes to monitor, a cluster type (Apache Ignite or GridGain), and a preferred billing method.

To open the Billing screen, click the user image in the top-right corner of the page and select Billing.

The Billing page consists of the Current Plans view, the Billing Method view, and the Billing History view.

Billing page

The Current Plans view contains information on the purchased subscription plans, which includes:

Column Name Description

Plan Type

Contains information on edition type and the number of nodes purchased for the plan.

Status

Contains information on plan status, which can be Activated, Deactivated, Canceled, or Unpaid.

Total Amount

Contains information on the amount of funds paid per billing period (month or year).

Billing Period

Contains information on billing period, which can be monthly or yearly.

Next Payment

Contains information on the next payment date.

Available for

Contains information on teams the plan is shared with.

The menu button (three vertical dots) allows you to perform the following actions:

  • Share Plan with…: To share the selected plan with teams you are an owner of.

  • Show Related Transactions: To see the billing history information for the selected plan.

  • Cancel Plan: To cancel the selected subscription plan.

The Billing Method view contains information on the credit card specified for billing.

The Billing History view contains information on billing details, which includes:

Column Name Description

Transaction Type

The type of the billing transaction.

Bank Card

The bank card used for billing.

Date

The date of the transaction.

Status

The purchased plan status.

Amount

The amount of funds paid.

The menu button (three vertical dots) allows you to view the receipt for the selected transaction.

Purchasing a Subscription Plan

You can purchase any number of subscription plans and monitor them in the Current Plans view.

Registered users get a 30-day trial version of GridGain Control Center, which offers an unlimited number of nodes to monitor, regardless of the cluster type.

To purchase a new subscription plan, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Billing Method view and click the UPDATE button to bind a credit card to your account.

  2. In the Update card dialog, fill in the required information about your credit card and the billing address.

  3. Then, check the “Authorisation” box at the bottom of the dialog and click the UPDATE button to proceed. Now the credit card is successfully bound to your account.

  4. On the Billing page, navigate to the top-right corner of the Current Plans view and click the BUY NEW PLAN button.

  5. In the Buy New Plan dialog, specify the number of nodes to monitor for the editions (cluster types) that you use. Note that you cannot change the number of selected nodes for an already purchased plan, so we recommend to include some extra nodes in the subscription plan for the sake of growth.

  6. Specify the billing period. Сhoose either monthly or annual subscription.

  7. Click the CHECKOUT button to proceed.

  8. In the Checkout dialog, verify your Order summary and the Billing method. You can also update your credit card information here.

  9. Then, check the box at the bottom of the dialog to agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

  10. Click the PURCHASE button to buy a selected subscription plan. After that, you can activate it in the Current Plans view.

Sharing Plans with Teams

After the subscription plan is purchased, you can share it with the teams you own.

To share a plan, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Current Plans view and click the menu button (three vertical dots) of the selected plan.

  2. In the opened menu, click Share Plan with….

  3. In the Share Plan with… dialog, check one or several teams to share the plan with and click OK.

After the subscription plan is purchased, you can navigate to the Plan Management screen to monitor and manage the subscription plans for each separate team.
